Liza Bresson | Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Liza began her career at Marcus & Millichap, specializing in the sale of shopping centers. This early exposure to retail investment sales laid a strong foundation in asset valuation, underwriting, and transaction execution. Her work at Marcus & Millichap led to an opportunity with Willner Realty & Development (WRDC), where she worked alongside the Principals to operate a five-million-square-foot portfolio of grocery-anchored shopping centers, office buildings, and hotels. As Vice President, she oversaw leasing, construction, acquisitions, and asset management. She was responsible for sourcing new acquisitions and driving value within the existing portfolio.
While at WRDC, Liza began investing personally in small multifamily properties, applying the same disciplined redevelopment strategy that now defines Franklin Penn. These early investments laid the foundation for the firm’s growth. Today, the company’s privately owned portfolio includes multifamily, mixed-use, industrial and office assets in some of the region’s most dynamic locations. Liza’s ability to procure, nurture, and secure quietly marketed properties is what sets her apart from industry peers. She has built a reputation as a honest, nimble and strategic operator and partner.
